I live my life in pursuit of meaningful, creative connections rooted in my mad and disabled experience. As a writer and multi-media artist, I strive to reveal the beauty and complexity that exist in the subtle details and passing moments of life that would otherwise go overlooked. I create to feel seen and help others feel seen, especially those with experiences similar to my own. I value storytelling and art when it is at its most raw, unedited, and strange, because it captures something real. Creativity – and writing novels – is more than a form of expression; it is a way of surviving, being known by others, and building a forever.
I create art under the pen name Larty McMahon (she/her), and I work as a public health data analyst and storyteller under my name, Dielle Lundberg.
